Dharti Vikas Mandal was formed in the year 1944 due to desire of motivated individuals to make difference in the lives of people. The main aim of Dharti Vikas Mandal was to eradicate widespread social evils prevailing in Patidar Community. The movement, which started in year 1944 by philanthropist Dr. Ganpatram Patel and Mr.Chandravandan Lashkari as “ Akhil Kadva Patidar Prgati Mandal” in Ahmedabad has revolutionized the lives of Patidar community members. Many individuals have participated in our efforts by volunteering for various welfare schemes, contributing time and skills. Dharti Vikas Mandal ‘s social, economic and women welfare schemes have given new direction to people enabling them to lead a better life.
Over the past six decades Dharti Vikas Mandal has played a monumental role in eradicating the social evils prevailing in Patidar Community. The cause of Dharti Vikas Mandal is supported by renowned humanitarians like Shri Prabhatkumar Desai, Shri. Pitambar Patel, Shri. Dharamchand Chokshi, Shri. Purshottamdas Patel and Shri Ramdas.
